  • Custom (non-standardized) questions can play an important role in gauging and evaluating employee attitudes because it addresses organization-specific needs. Our service provides organizations with the flexibility of adding non-standardized questions to the normative questions, or using non-standardized questions only.

We accept three general types of custom questions: closed-ended questions, open-ended questions (often referred to as text box, verbatim or comment questions), and sub-group questions. These questions can be selected from our custom designed 500+ question library, or can be entirely new questions or response choice selections.

Up to 80 closed-ended questions can be added in the form of radio buttons (rating scales), rating tables, or multi-selects (check boxes).

Sub-group selections (up to 3) can have up to eight sub-group categories per question. These are reported with breakdowns for both the normative questions and the non-standardized questions. We recommend their use where an organization has clear differentiations of job location, tenure, job classification, and other similar demographics, and expects at least 30 respondents for each of the categories.

Organizations can also add up to three text box questions seeking employee comments. This is in addition to the following question which is automatically included on all questionnaires:
"What one suggestion would you make to maintain or improve job satisfaction at your organization?"
